Skylark Bracket Frame Fun

Today I want to show one of Close to my Heart's My Creations products. This is a gift for my sweet little niece, just because she is such a good mommy to here Luna.

The Bracket Frame is a pre-assembled chipbard Bracket shaped frame, 11" outer dimension, 7" inner dimension with a depth of 1".

I had a vision for this frame when I first saw if. It took me some time to figure out how to turn my vision into a reality, once I did that the frame came together with total ease. Here is a quick walk through......

First I purchased the frame then went to work in creating the insert.

Then I took the insert out and inked the edges of the frame with Saddle ink and covered it with Skylark Paper. This is where I used the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartrige. It was so easy and it fit perfectly!!

After playing with the frame I got to decorate and plan out my design, inking the edges and getting the photos sized and inserted. Once my insert was decorated just the way that I wanted it was time to insert it to the  Bracket Frame. It fit perfectly. I did use a little glue on the inside of the frame just to hold the insert perfectly in place.  (I won't bore you with the details for the decorating)

This is the finished My Creations Bracket Frame with an accompanying Scrapbook
layout to go into her album.

I would love to see what you do with the Bracket frame.

  4. This is just lovely, I am a consultant too! Love your creativity. You should join CTMH Eye Candy on Facebook, it is a consultant only website where we inspire and share our art with each other. Again, thanks for sharing, I have 2 of these and would have never thought of segmenting it on my own. You have inspired me.
